Custom Printing and Scanning
Silver gelatin prints are standard for exhibition black and white photographic printing in galleries and museums around the world.
Custom archival pigment prints are museum quality inkjet prints. They include a personal consultation with one of our experienced printers to collaborate on image goals such as color, detail and size. We have available an array of surfaces, including heavyweight rag papers, smooth or textured, and coated surfaces in glossy, luster or metallic. If you are printing from film, we recommend a drum scan to produce the best possible results for your final print.
Drum scanning is the most accurate and detailed way to digitize your film. Each scan is hand mounted to the drum using the utmost care and attention by an experienced technician. Once digitized, the files are reviewed and color corrected. From highlight to shadow, you can expect a full tonal range of detail and beautiful grain reproduction. Use the scanning size chart to estimate the size scan you’ll need for the sized print you want.
Flatbed scanning is the best way to reproduce prints or flat art. Our scanner can handle originals up to 11x17 inches in one scan. We can also scan and stitch for larger projects.
